# Original Rev02 geometry verification

Release: v0.3.0. Checked 13 October 2026. This report describes digital source-file checks, not physical, printing, or clinical validation.

The corrected release uses **Sophia Brace Schematic- rev02 2 sections.stl**. The separate InvisaSole is the perforated component with an elevated forefoot extracted from this original assembly. It is not one of the 52 generated chart-reference variants from the previous release. No chart-based scaling or redesign was applied.

## Files and preservation

| File | Triangles | Description |
| --- | ---: | --- |
| InvisaBrace-InvisaSole-Rev02-original.stl | 193,118 | Byte-for-byte copy of the original two-component assembly |
| InvisaBrace-Rev02-brace-component.stl | 114,176 | Original brace component, separated without changing triangle records |
| InvisaSole-Rev02-original-component.stl | 78,942 | Original perforated, elevated-forefoot sole component, separated without changing triangle records |

The binary STL source was read directly. Exact shared vertex coordinates established triangle connectivity; no tolerance-based welding changed output geometry. The separated files retain their original positions and original triangle order. Every 50-byte triangle record, including coordinates, stored normal and attribute bytes, was copied unchanged. Only the STL header and triangle count differ from the original assembly. The two components partition all 193,118 original triangles exactly once.

There was no remeshing, smoothing, repair, translation, rotation, rescaling, mirroring, or normal recomputation in the delivered CAD. Renders change only camera view and color; they show the delivered geometry. The original assembly is still an assembly of two distinct components, not a fused printable object.

## Digital checks and known geometry issue

Both components have finite coordinates, consistent winding, positive signed volume, zero open boundary edges, zero edges shared by more than two triangles, zero zero-area triangles, and zero duplicate vertex-index triangles. The two files pass the closed-edge check commonly called “watertight.”

**The brace is not a fully manifold mesh.** An additional vertex-link check found three pinched vertices in the original brace: each joins two disconnected triangle fans at one coordinate. These are preserved source features, not extraction errors. The sole has no such vertex-link defects. Closed edges alone do not establish print-readiness. The brace topology issue needs engineering assessment and any repair should be separately versioned rather than silently substituted for the original.

The three brace coordinates, in unspecified source units, are:

- (-13.0062999725, 53.4426994324, 53.3700981140)
- (17.1574001312, 35.5458984375, 77.6292037964)
- (32.5825996399, -54.4416999817, 7.0030999184)

| Geometry | X envelope | Y envelope | Z envelope |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: |
| Original assembly | 69.939499 | 170.416023 | 106.739998 |
| Brace component | 69.939499 | 114.429798 | 106.739998 |
| Sole component | 53.027752 | 151.887939 | 27.912213 |

These are **source-coordinate units, not confirmed millimeters**. The binary STL does not specify units. Envelopes are bounding-box dimensions, not shoe size, internal fit, thickness, or a prescribed physical scale. A slicer may assume a unit automatically; that assumption is not evidence of intended scale. No left/right designation or validated shoe-size mapping is supplied.

The machine-readable report includes exact bounds, file sizes, topology findings, record-preservation results and render checksums.

## Remaining limitations

The checks do not establish physical scale, anatomical side, shoe or foot fit, assembly attachment or clearances, triangle self-intersections, inter-component collisions, minimum wall thickness, small-feature manufacturability, material selection, slicing behavior, strength, fatigue, skin-contact safety, or clinical performance. No physical print or wearer test was performed as part of this correction. The raised forefoot is visible in the actual geometry; its angle has not been measured or linked to any reported physical test.

These are original CAD files for off-body evaluation under the accompanying license. They are not verified wearable or clinically validated products.
